With the firm belief that environmental issues are critical to all humankind, Citizen Seimitsu has set up a "garden factory" to match the beauty of the natural environment as a part of its activities to give attention to the preservation of the global environment.

1. The Company is to duly consider the environmental effects of all of its business activities.
<1> Caution toward the environment is to be exercised in the design of products and work flow.
<2> Efforts are to be directed toward waste reduction.
<3> Energy conservation and recycling are to be areas of focus.
<4> Energies are to be channelled to the elimination and reduction of contaminants through
the appropriate management of chemical substances.
2. The Company is to adhere to all government regulations and agreements related to the environment.
3. The Company is to establish and revise environmental targets and goals and strive for continual improvement.
4. To ensure the success of its environmental activities, the Company is to clearly communicate its policies to all employees in writing and conduct consciousness-raising activities.
5. The Company's environmental policies will be made available to the public by including them in its corporate brochure.
